Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

Walk with us!

Join us for a walk in the park as we get ready for the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.

This year more than 182,000 new cases of breast cancer will be diagnosed in the
United States, 770 in Rhode Island alone.

Come join us on Sunday, October 19 in Roger Williams Park for this four mile walk to help support the American Cancer Society's important research, education, patient services and advocacy efforts. Since its beginning, RI Making Strides has helped to raise more than $4.4 million. Registration begins at the Temple To Music at 7:00 a.m. and the walk kicks off at 8:30 a.m.

Due to the popularity of this event, carpooling or public transportation is strongly recommended.

Together, we can make great progress in the fight against breast cancer. We look forward to seeing you on October 19 to help Make Strides Against Breast Cancer. For more information or to register call the American Cancer Society at 1-800-
ACS-2345, log on to www.cancer.org.
